I am installing a BakFlip bed cover. The directions have you remove the bulkhead cap and placing seals on the ends, then reinstalling the cap. One of the nuts for the bulkhead cap seems to be crossthreaded. Any advice for repairing or replacing that nut if that is even possible? Ive been searching diagrams to see if those are available and only find the nuts that fit on the rails for accessories.

The front of the bed/rail? If yes I thought those nuts where welded on. If that’s the case then rethread the nut maybe

    I would....
    1. Try and run a tap/thread chaser through it first, if not.....
    2. Drill it out and use a Heli-Coil or a NutSert

    Good luck.
