Hey guys, So 2nd gen double cab Tacoma with jbl package and I took out the stock 8" sub and added a lineout converter from the jbl amp to my new aftermarket amp with skar IX8 sub. I keep everything else stock. head unit, tweeters, and mids are all the factory jbl's. The problem is that my tweeters and highs are playing the same low frequencies so how could I fix that?
I heard bass blockers, but unsure on what kind to get and how to install? any help?

If the tweeters are being fed the low frequencies, they're probably junk now.
To install one, pull the positive wire off the tweeter, attach one end of the bass blocker (capacitor,) to the wire and put this wire back on the NEGATIVE terminal of the tweeter. Move the negative wire to the positive terminal. Done.
Capacitors, invert sine waves 180°, hence the need to swap positive and negative wires on the tweeter.
    Give it a shot.

You could just get a crossover to split out the frequencies you want to each speaker.

Tweeters already have a bass blocker/crossovers, on mine there was when I removed them.

Ohh okay thats good so that means I probably need to get a bass blocker for the mids cuz that's where the unwanted lows are coming from?

I don't have the jbl system. Isn't the crossover in the amp?
OP, have you even looked at the drivers in the door to see what you need?
