    Hey all,

Looking for any input on the
Barricade HD Front Bumper w/ LED Fog Lights seen on extreme terrains website.

The price seems good for what it is, and I want a functional bumper to protect the truck and from what I have read here bullbars are clearly not the answer. And as much as I would love a bumper from ARB, SSO, or C4, they are simply above my budget at this point in time.

Sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere but I can't seem to find it, maybe I just suck at searching!

    Thanks!

Just wondering. For a few hundred you can have a better looking front . It doesn’t end there. Because it will be front heavy, handling will change so you need beefier front suspension. Then it will look out of place with the lift so larger tires. It never ends. So if funds are limited......... just wondering. Peace

I get that, just trying to not spend a ton in one upgrade, if I can save a little, and the product is still good, makes it easier for the next upgrade needed/desired.

    Thanks!

Congrats! Those look sweet, but I would like to avoid cutting, looking for a full swap. Have you had experience with the Barricade, or heard about it? JW if there is a particular reason you don't think it is worth it?

    Thanks!

No experience, however over the years of various builds you get what you pay for, there is a reason it is $500. Good luck with your build.

It doesn't look like it's winch compatible. Unless you're getting it for looks then why have a steel bumper that you can't put a winch in. Maybe that's why the low price since it doesn't have the support for a winch.

Otherwise it seems like a decent deal. 5/32" steel is good for a bumper, powder coat, and lights for a lot less than other off-road bumpers isn't bad.

Personally I don't like the bulky look and the no winch factor.

Good point, maybe that is the reason, oh well, keep looking/saving I guess!

    Thanks!

I’m currently getting the same one. Did you end up getting it? Was it easy to install? Lights? I wanted a different style but the wife decided to back into the oem bumper and crushed the plastic in pretty good. So I went with this one. Eventually maybe I’ll swap it out

IMO, most full replacement bumpers look terrible.

If you're concerned about cutting, add this product and you don't have to cut anything... You can even get it color matched.
