Barcode Sticker

    This barcode sticker is on the frame in the driver's side wheel well.

    Any idea what it's for? Don't think it's been there since 2005.

    did you get your frame replaced? i'd guess it's from that. i remember people having random F or G stickers on their replacement frames as well.

    None of the documentation shows a frame replacement. No rust at all but it's a southwest truck.

    More likely a component ID Bar Code from the Frame Manufacturer assigned during the manufacturing process.

    This truck is in mint condition but for a paper sticker to last 17 years seems unlikely. It does appear to be a tracking barcode, perhaps just a number.
    I thought it may have something to do with alignment or front end work.

    The sticker was there when it was brand new. My early 06 has it as well. My trucks original frame was clean enough to eat off of when I got it and it was never replaced.

    I saw that on mine when I was changing the oil and fixing the cata heat shield. Whats the F & G mean? I think mine had the letter on it I'll check when I go outside
