    Got a replacement, but can't find anything online about the location. 4 Cyl

    Being a 4 banger only 1 bank.
    Sensor 1 is engine side of cat.
    Sensor 2 is tailpipe side of cat.
    So 1 is on the pipe that drops down from manifold.

    Found it and replaced. Thanks. I unfortunately bust that retaining clip for the electrical connector though.

    Did you use one of the sockets made for them?

    Yeah I used that, it's not the sensor that's damaged. There's a separate clip that seemed to kind of lock together the sensor connector to the wiring harness cable. Seems to be fine without it honestly.

    I just did mine last weekend and that clip was a nightmare, had to hold the lock tab open with an ice pick and pull the connector out with a pair of pliers. Got it out but a lot of messing around for sure. I'd say given how tight the connectors fit together your probably just fine but if you wanted to be sure you could use a zip tie to make sure they don't separate.

    I just replaced this sensor yesterday. I put in a
    Denso 234-9050
    Perfect swap for the oem. Included the wire retaining clip. Reset the codes and I was good to go.
    Appreciated the info above.

    Sensor 1 is usually harder to find, access, and tucked away higher hidden more than sensor 2

    1 is upstream. 2 is downstream.

    bank (which bank of cylinders) doesn’t apply here as it’s not a V engine. Inline 4 would probably list them as B1S1 and B1S2.

    s1 typically has more wires and terminals at the plug, can be a heated sensor, and cost more than S2.
