I am getting ready to order a set of these and was wondering that exact question for road use if they aren't too blinding if they are angled down....?

I angled mine down slightly. I set it such that the bezel filling in the gap still looked ok. However note that there's no cutoff on these, so even angled down mine still light up the face of a car passing in the other direction.

"arent' too blinding"... that's kind of subjective. They will shine in the face of oncoming drivers. If you're really that worried about it, maybe another option is better. there's a thread in the lighting forum goign through the various foglight options that have a cutoff.

All that being said, I wouldn't trade my BD's for any other option. I only run them though when it's nasty out.

i angled mine way down and they're still bright as hell, ill still get occasionally flashed with them on. but i have a little more than a quarter inch gap on top where they're supposed to sit flush with the bezels

I replaced my stock fogs with the squadron sports wide cornering amber lens with the fog pocket bezels. I also angled them down. But I agree no cut off so they can be blinding to other drivers. I’ve only been high beamed a few times and I run them all the time. Wouldn’t trade them for anything

They aren't DOT legal, and even the sport model is hella bright. I run them during the day when we are in convoy or on trail, but I leave them off on the street. Even my friends have told me over the radio they are super bright during the day.

I angled down mine as well and run them on the street, no issues getting pulled over or anything thus far and man do they make a world of difference.

They aren't designed to used on the street. They will be way too bright for oncoming traffic whether you aim them down or not so I wouldn't bother. Set them up for optimal use in their intended environment and then don't use them when they shouldn't be used.

My sports are aren't angled down but I have been thinking of doing that...
These are very bright, even brighter then my high beams and without a cut off the light shines high.
They say wide angle cornering lenses and angled down works so might give that a try.

I got an idea from a different thread. I'll test it tonight and report back tomorrow.
