I configured a Spot and an Amber wide on two separate SwitchPro 9100 switches. The S1's are resting on Rago Low Pro stainless mounts. High beams will trigger both lamps.

Interesting choice. How come you went with two different patterns/colors?

Camping with a truck camper is focused on the passenger side (the awning is on this side). A dimmed amber provides appropriate camp lighting.

The driver side is for spotting/rescue. The SwitchPro effectively creates two distinct lighting systems.

The S1 with Wide/Cornering pattern will get you out 200-300 feet. The S1 Spot will get you a few hundred feet of usable light beyond the 300 foot range.

Quick question for you guys. Or maybe a few.

What’s the lower Voltage threshold on the S1’s? I installed some wide cornering ones on my bike’s crash bars and I have a Denali Electronics CANSmart that I can use to control intensity. I need to hook it up and play with the setting to see what the voltage output is at different intensity settings. I’d like to make sure they work, if not I guess I’ll be running at 100%.

I have them wired up right now to a switch only and not connected to the CANSmart

I did have to order some extra connectors though to make a pigtail to go between the Denali harness and the BD connectors. More to follow.

I don’t know what the actual voltage threshold is but my SwitchPro will dim down to 10% and they still work fine. I’m not sure how that 10% converts to actual voltage. I would assume it would be about 1.5 volts?

Not the best shot, but running a set of amber wide S1s off the back off my roof rack! Absolutely love them. (I went with the white housing with amber wide lens)

Hey BD, what are the plug types for these S1's? I have some current rear POD's and wondering if I could just swap the lights with these in the current wiring or if I would need to run new wiring harness?

We use a two pin weather pack connector on the S1s. What's the amp draw of your current auxiliary lighting?

Perfect. The S1 takes up 20 watts/1.45 amps each. You should be good!

When you purchase any of our LED lights, they do come with the opposite connector in case you need to utilize a current harness. FYI

@Baja Designs Thank you! I got impatient and ordered the S1's last night. Still need to find a slim 20 light bar so Ill remember the code.

We absolutely love the S1's! They might be small, but they pack a punch. We've had great results using them for all kinds of applications from fog lights, to ditch lights to reverse lights. Here's a pair in wide cornering:

And I absolutely love Offroad Alliance. Anyone looking to buy parts for their Tacoma should hit them up. I bought my Prinsu through them and loved the customer service.

I installed a set of S1 Flush Mounts in Work/Scene pattern in the bumper of my '12 TRD Sport. Install wasn't bad although I used an Air on Board switch instead of the one that came on the BD harness.

These things are ridiculous for their size. The Work/Scene pattern is perfect for a rear/backup light. I was back and forth with the Wide Cornering, but I'm glad I went with the Scene. The periphery is fantastic.

    20200821_065108.jpg 20200821_065146.jpg 20200821_065026.jpg20200811_213855.jpg20200811_213827.jpg 20200821_065920.jpg

I couldn't be happier with the end result! Now just need a set of the S1 Pods for ditch lights lol
