After only 5 months & used a few times this happened today.
Heavy condensation is visible on entire inside of lens.
I have appointment at local shop that did clear to amber lens swap & install.
Hopefully Baja Designs get this replaced quickly.
Very surprised this happened so soon.

    Hey @JS11B,

With condensation inside the light bar, we do cover this under our lifetime warranty. While doing any lens swap you want to make sure that the O-Ring gets replaced as well as properly torqued. I will link some information below. If you have any questions or would like to get more information about our warranty please email me at bill@bajadesigns.com as I can help you out!

Hey Bill, thanks for the reply.
My local shop did the lens swap & install, wiring etc. Only the clear was available at the time of purchase.
Anyway, the light bar is on its way back to you.
    Thanks

I've had this happen before but didn't find it to be too big of a deal. I emailed them about it and they suggested removing the lenses to let it dry out and check the O ring. The problem persisted so I mailed the bar back to them and they got me all squared away. Shit happening is inevitable in life, but at least BD is quick to resolve. Their customer service and warranty are outstanding.

Excellent, thats why I went with this brand over others, I heard enough positive CS stories. Light was trouble shot & BD will have my light in a couple of days. Just a bit of a pain getting that big bar in & out, its tucked in pretty good, but ya life happens. Hopefully that seal won't be needed to be broken again.

    Hey @JS11B,

How are you enjoying your lighting setup? Are there any specific areas on your truck where you could use some extra light?

    Best,
    Bill

I am pretty happy with what I have for lighting, although I am waiting for @MESO Customs to release their billet 3rd Gen, 3rd brake light utilizing your rock lights.
    Current setup is far from ideal;

    Hey @JS11B,

The MESO Customs 3rd brake light will be a great addition! If you do not have the rocks yet, feel free to send me a PM to get a quote built out with a forum special.

I've seen a lot of reports about this but every case of leaking has been from lens swaps. Is it that finnicky the switch BD lenses as I may end up going BD for my roof bar/rock lights?

I mean I know we obviously won't hear about successful lens swaps really and kudos anyways to BD having great customer support

It's really easy to swap lenses without issue. If you count each light as an instance, I've done maybe two dozen lens swaps with no issues. My issue posted above wasn't water ingress from the lens.

I'd recommend, if possible, get the exact lens configuration that you want even if it means waiting for a few months, they are pressure/leak tested prior to shipping. Less risky.

Yeah that's what i'd do anyways once I see how these DD lights do for my needs to know the patterns im looking for. I just don't have BD money right now after buying a bunch of gear for my taco. Will make posts about all that SoonTM

    Hey @thekytaco,

When it comes to replacing lenses for your BD products, the process is relatively simple and fast, depending on the series of light you're working with. For most of our lights, you'll need to loosen a few bezel screws. Every lens kit we ship includes a brand-new O-ring to guarantee a fresh seal. As you replace the O-ring, ensure it's positioned correctly and re-torque it to the specifications provided in a QR code within the kit. If, for whatever reason, you do see any sort of moister within the light, feel free to shoot me an email at bill@bajadesigns.com, and I can make sure you are getting taken care of.

    Best,
    Bill
