    Thing looks pretty sick

you getting it? Where/how will you mount it?

The one time I tried using my previous Arcan ALJ3T "3 ton high lift quick rise" it didn't even reach up to the truck...
It was aluminum and lighter though, I'll give it that. Even the Arcan hybrid steel/aluminum weighs barely more than all aluminum, but much lighter than all steel competitors if not half the weight; not sure how the Badland is

That would be awesome if this thing is light enough to keep in the truck; maybe a well-tinted shell and bike cable lock
Unless a hi-lift is enough; that I already have (48") with 360deg armor to lift from
but that can be tricky. If you're in a narrow garage, there's no space on the side to be cranking the lever of a hi lift
or other uses for a conventional floor jack

I bought one a few weeks ago because I was sick of using blocks of wood to get the front of my truck off the ground… love it. My neighbor came by and saw it, went out and bought one the next day.

I plan on making a mount for it in the bed of the truck once I get around to it..

my only complaint is you can’t lock the wheels so the thing just rolls around if you just leave it in the bed and not on it’s side.

what kinda mount you gonna make

I see there’s pro eagle off road jack mounts but they’re like $300, ouch

thing could probably be secured decently with some creativity using bungee cords or ratchet straps
Maybe to bed rails, existing cargo hooks, or adding more cargo hooks

I did the sprinter van/MOPAR D-ring mod (adds D-rings to bed bolts) when I ran a bed mat, cut holes in it with hole saw
But now I have a bedrug covering them; maybe I need to cut holes in that too

that might work to secure it

I was planning on copying proeagles a little bit with aluminum and just mounting it close to the tailgate on the floor of the bed. Have a family member that works with aluminum and was going to run it by him.

    thanks

just found this only $60 shipped

    https://www.911motorsports.net/Vehi...Jack--Harbor-Freight-Mounting-kit_p_1117.html

I wonder a good way to put it secure and tucked away in the bed with a camper shell

as opposed to welding a mount vertically to a tire swingout, which
    1) requires a swingout not everyone has
    2) leaves the jack exposed and visible to thieving eyes as well as weather corrosion

strapped to a MOLLE panel might be a good way
RC and Hooke Road probably the cheapest source on MOLLE panels

My only option is the one i posted since i have a full drawer system and fridge in the bed. Ill have to mount on my swing arm but that's a good option for those that have an open bed.

step 2 determine mount and security pending

thing makes my previous Arcan look like trash
Lighter than I thought it’d be

still need to tighten the holder bracket and make sure the fluid is topped off, bled, and working
Probably isn’t ready to go as I know that’s how my old Arcan came when it was new (dry of fluid)

how big is that thing!? looks like its bigger then my ARCAN

could you throw a 2nd D ring on that bed bolt on the back on one of the sides and tuck the jack along the side of the bed?

And yeah easily you could do the extra d ring. As you can tell all my bed bolts have anchor points.

how will you mount it? upload_2023-2-19_8-6-48.jpg
aluminum angle originally bolted in the bed with a Titan strap. Lift onto tailgate then roll to front of the bed, pull handle down to lift front wheels over wheel stop then strap down. Love my Pro Eagle.

i have mine "mounted" in the bed of my tacoma, kinda. i slapped together a little 2x4 box so that groceries wouldn't slide around and also to hold gravel bags in winter for added bed weight. fortunately for me, the dimension from the front of the wheel well (DCSB) to the back is roughly the length dimension of the badlands jack. you can lay the handle pieces in front of it as an added wedge. the outside tire fits in the grooved bed liner too to prevent lateral shifting. then i just slapped a bungee chord around it. But this spring i am taking a look at the bed layout again as i want to add a horse stall mat on the floor and redo my grocery bin.
