Need to remove the top black plastic cover on top of the rear bumper. Enough I have to remove the license plate lights but also I need to remove the sensors. Has anybody removed the backup parking sensors and how to do it? How hard is it?
Need to go slow and sure without damaging things and digging for more $$$ to fix.
Attempting to realign the rear bumper caps to the frame.

Take it to the dealer and have it fixed under warranty.

The sensors are not really that hard to remove - they are just held in by 3 little push-in clips in the outer ring.

On another note, don't bother with trying to re-align the bumper caps - there is not enough wiggle room in the assembly to give you any kind of adjustment. If your bumper mounts to the hitch, there is just about 0 tolerance in the holes.

Like the other guy said, dealer is probably best to perform this kind of work, since the bed probably needs to be adjusted, not the bumper.

The metal frame that supports and top plastic bumper and the caps and that attaches to the hitch bar is aligned OK. The problem are the end caps behind the painted plastic outer caps that are not installed the right way. As you see in the pictures, the distance is not even between the caps and the metal frame and the screw hole is misaligned also. Driver side (large gap) is crooked and passenger side (normal gap) is more IN and straight.
Need to remove the top plastic cover to get to the screws that hols the plastic end caps support. In order to remove the top plastic cover I need to remove the license plate lights and the backup sensors.
