    Hey guys and gals,

I have a 2009 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Base, Ext. Cab - 4 doors, short bed. I just need some help for this issue.......when driving forward, I turn on my headlights and my BACKUP CAMERA comes on. It goes on then out and on again, like there is a short somewhere. When I put the truck in reverse the camera stays on steady. I am at the end of my rope before I
take it into the dealer. Which I don't want too because my warranty just ran out!!!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!

Sounds like it's connected to the taillight rather than the reverse light.

Is it a factory camera or after market?

If factory, sounds like someone might have screwed with it to make it always on.
