About the same size as yours. I'm considering just building a platform with a cover of Carpet.

Same here. They'll need some kind of ramp.

I was planning on building a dog platform in the rear with seats folded but quickly concluded just a blanket on the seats gives plenty of room and saves the usefulness of seats. Lots of room for my 125lb rottie. Picture not in truck but gives idea of what I'm hauling back there.20210513_114510.jpg

My boxer is 65#s and our other dog is a Catahoula boxer cross at 85#s. They fit very well. Longest ride has been maybe 3 hours though.

It is, but it's a great brand that's actually way tougher than it looks. Plus it was the "Loki" line and that just happens to be his name so we needed to do it.

This ramp has worked well for us the last 4 or so years. Our dogs are 15 and 13. The high traction surface is good and has held up well.

I did a Goose Gear flat floor in my Access Cab. I also put a fridge on one side, and a (shorter) plastic container on the other side for dog supplies, with two dog beds for my two dachshunds. Here is Moo watching the miles go by on a recent 2500 mile road trip!

However by the end of the road trip, he was bored out of his mind and clearly letting me know.

We ended up with something similar from a source called K-9 something. About 70 dollars. The sides zip up and the center front is screened and also has zippers.

Ours need some help getting in with that set up. For now I set a Rubber Maid Tub with the lid on for a step up. Our youngest one can jump onto the floor, so she got underneath the whole affair, had a heck of a time getting her out.
Meanwhile I'm looking for some type of collapsible step or ramp to put in the bed of the truck, 5 foot bed.

That one is Orvis but there are plenty of similar ones for far less money. I have one from Amazon that I've used for years in our RAV4. It's not perfect, but it helps a lot and you can throw it in the washing machine.

Here’s mine. Is a runner section from Home Depot. Literally 8-12 bucks and can toss and get another when done/beat up. Been three years like that with no issue. Doesn’t slip and is grippy for my OEB. Can put her bed back there also if needed. Seats down. Yeah it’s dirty and no I don’t give a F.
