You're getting a P0171 code? Failing cat converters throw a P0420 code, P0171 is usually a vacuum leak issue or something wrong with the MAF sensor

If you're positive you don't have any vacuum leaks I would try cleaning the MAF with actual MAF cleaner (not electrical cleaner or brake cleaner)

What kind did you install? OEM or aftermarket? Aftermarket sensors are known to make these trucks run like crap, OEM/Denso sensors are the only way to go

Also beware of cheap OEM sensors online, lots of fakes coming from China

You got some more background to the scenario? Are you asking for advice or just stating what you're doing next?
Were all of those codes showing when you had the ECU scanned?

Definitely pick up an OEM one. I would bet that Duralast one isn't doing you any good

Backfiring through the intake will be more than a vacuum or exhaust leak right? To me sounds like timing jumped or something with the ignition system with all those DTCs as well

How many miles on it and what's the maintenance/repair history on it? And can you describe in a lil more detail the symptoms? Or describe what it's doing that it didn't do before?

173k. Before I changed the maf the tachometer was back and forth, once it fell below 500 it died When I tried to give it gas in park, the engine would sputter and could hear popping sounds coming from under the hood. When I got it to 35 mph it wouldnt go any faster. It had no power at all

In your first post with the picture, are those all codes that are currently showing? What maintenance has been done? Plugs and coil packs good? Timing belt and tensioner? At 173k miles there is quite a bit of maintenance that shouldve been done by now.
If you know you're timing belt and ignition stuff is all fine, a clogged cat could be a possibility.

Okay, I'd think timing and ignition are okay if you've replaced those things you mention. That's a lot of codes you're ECU is throwing. Has the check engine lamp been on for a while before this?
An IR thermometer laser thingy could help you compare temps at inlet and outlet of the cats. Can you unbolt a cat and get a look and see how plugged it is? I'd definitely check for exhaust and vac leaks as well as someone mentioned earlier.

Had this happen and it was a bad cat converter. Cut pipe in front of cat or unbolt if possible, should run better. Good luck and let us know what you find out.

Bummer dude, sorry to hear that. Hopefully it's not too expensive of a fix. Keep us posted on it, hermano :D
