Seems the passenger side rear seat will not latch, nothing restricting it. I noticed it folded forward and it won’t latch back. Not an issue for me as no one rides back there, I’ll have dealer look at it on service. Might check your for proper operation.

Sometimes you’ve gotta slam it to get it to latch

Make sure the seat belt latch points are tucked away.

I found out mine doesn't latch either. The rear seat behind the driver.

I leaned on mine once (the flat plastic back) and something popped. It made the noise that pushing in a fender or big piece of sheet metal makes. Ever since then, my passengers side needs to be slammed hard to latch

A little lithium grease might help.

The rear seat that is behind the driver seat. The part where you sit on won't latch. I don't see how it logically can latch. On the bottom of the seat is the U shaped bar. On the floor there is just this white metal tab. Doesn't make sense.

Happened to me right after I purchased my truck. The whole latch had to be replaced (under warranty)

The part you sit on doesn't latch. Gravity and the top part hold it in place.

According to Einstein gravity doesn’t exist.

Unfortunately, when I'm rough driving, the seat pops up. There should be something that keeps the part you sit on latched down. There's a U shaped bar under the seat and a plain white painted metal tab on the floor. The metal tab on the floor looks like something else should be there.

Do you have any photos? What you're referring to sounds like it may be for child a car seat anchor, but I'd have to see to be sure.

Are you hitting sweet jumps or something? That has to be some pretty "rough driving" to cause the seat to pop up.

I was thinking the same. Although it should be noted that my driver's side one will pop up if I lay the seat back down and put it back up. But a simple push back down and it is back in place and stays. No latch needed.

I can see orange on mine, and it can’t get it to ‘retract’ deep enough where it doesn’t show.
(Reviving an old thread for help)

Edit: if anyone is going through this (or for when I forget again), I had to take the plastic part on the back of my seat off and re-seat it. It looked bowed out, because somehow one of the plastic clips underneath the cover popped came out from under the bar they're supposed to attach to, causing the plastic cover on the back of the seat to push against the plastic below the window.
