Hey guys, I’m trying to install a new baby camera for my taco. I have everything wired but I’m wondering what fuse slot to plug it into. I see there’s 2-3 empty fuse slots, IG2-main, EFI No.2, and towing tail. Is there one I should be using or rather powers when I turn on the car? I tried the EFI No.2(if I remember correctly) and the cam was on even when the car was off, so that’s a no go.
    Any help would be great!
Also while we’re on this topic, add-a-fuse for interior light strips at the feet or has anyone tried them?
    Thanks in advance!

Are you installing a baby camera to watch your baby in the backseat?

Exactly. Baby seat has to go behind dr seat since I pick up and drop off my 7 year old a lot I wanna keep her car seat on passenger side. But I really hate not seeing the baby at all and $30 for a camera vs. $20 for a mirror so thought why not

I saw a video of someone putting an add a fuse into the washer fuse, but that is a 20a i believe and it says not to exceed 10a on the add a fuse so is that still okay?

    I would use POUTLET1 or POUTLET2

these are your cig lighters in the dash and center console. They turn on and off with the truck.

Everything inside the cab is by your feet. Everything outside the cab is under the hood

You’re able to fit in the driver seat with a car seat behind?
