I have a 2006 TRD Off Road. Recently the airbag light has been coming on. It only happens when no one is seating in the Passenger Seat. I gave the area a cleaning, wiggled the wires, and unplugged/plugged the sensor with the yellow tape.

The problem still persists.....I'm kind of sweating this because I have an appointment at the DMV to re-new my DL. I have to take the driving test and the only light I get is the airbag B1650....If I sit in the passenger seat and start the truck the light goes out. Fingers crossed it doesn't stop me from doing the driving test.

Is there a way to trick the seat sensor into thinking theres an adult in the seat? Something like putting a close pin on the sensor in the seat? I'm not looking forward to tearing apart the seat but I will if there's a cheat....

I plugged in the scan tool and got some live Data. The seat sensor seems to work. When I'm not seated the sensor reads off. When I'm seated the sensor reads AM50...Not sure what that means yet but I thought I'd share it.

Does anyone know what these three plugs are?

    Thanks so much....
