Did 6 miles up to inner basin in the San Francisco peaks. The aspen trees are stunning.

No definitely not. Having that in my backyard is pretty much what made me take the jump to LT. But a cool area to check out and day camp at.

Well had to drop the Prius off this morning at the service department. Battery pack failing. Car has 76k miles and is only 7 years old which means it should be completely covered under Toyota’s warranty. Has otherwise been a bulletproof car so far that’s been easy and cheap to maintain. I’ll prep myself for the Prius jokes, but do I dare say that it’s been even more reliable then the Taco?

My parents 2007 prius has been essentially flawless. 1 battery pack worn out but thats essential normal wear and tear.

Paid off, costs ~$50 in gas a month, and all of the maintenance I can do from my garage. It’s saved us a ton of money over the years. I imagine I should here from the dealer tomorrow but everything should be covered under warranty.

I have always wanted to buy a Prius at auction, yank all the crap out of it, cage it, 4 link, ect. and drop in a blown alcohol burning V8 so I can keep the carpool tag!

    Driving rant from the weekend

The asshole that parked on the inside apex of a blind corner on the FS road to Lockett meadow. There was a large turnout on the outside he could have parked on to take his friggin picture. Dude also just stared me down as I was coming down the mountain never pointed out his truck was parked in the middle of the corner. Almost hit the damn thing.

It’s a guy speculating “wouldn’t it be nice” and there is absolutely no way Honda would be in for that, I see very little interest in them upgrading basically everything about the vehicle and then putting an NSX motor in it. What kind of MSRP would this imaginary van sticker for? I’m sensing a limited market for 65000 dollar Honda minivans...

Wanted to go up to 11,000- 11,400 to scout some campsites before the treeline stops for a future backpacking trip and Humphreys summit the long way. Ankle and back said 10k feet was good.

Absolutely gorgeous hike the single track through the Aspen grove might be one of my favorite couple miles in all of AZ

I stopped at the end of the inner basin Gps shows 10,003. That is a big day hike from Lockett Meadow to Humphries summit pushing 16 miles
