I have the exterior mount AVS hood deflector, and exterior window vents.. but I would like to get a low profile in channel type (the exteriors came with the truck when I bought it, and I think they stick out too much)... I've heard some concerns about quality/packaging for the AVS units.. I know weather tech makes a comparable one, any other suggestions out there..
    looking at the smoked/black ones.

the truck is going to a shop soon to get the vinyl & avs EXTERIOR MOUNTED vent shades for the doors removed.. professional polishing & ceramic coating done.. the pic is of my DIY polishing wax job/slider install this past sunday/monday.

Subscribed, I’m in the same boat myself. I currently have AVS low profile in my Amazon cart, one set in smoked and one set in matte black.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I have in channel. I like them but keep in mind they take up the channel gap so your windows wont roll up completely into the door frame but I’m ok with it

AVS low profile matte black in-channel here as well. Work great with an easy installation, no regrets. I have noticed a bit of an increased blind spot on the drivers side A-pillar area when running these but I'm sure you're aware of this with your current setup.

OP-I have almost the exact same as yours on my truck, and really like them. I dont know too much about the in-channel ones.

AVS in Channel in smoke. Work great. Never a problem with windows and the low profile looks better in my opinion.

Anyone noticed increased wind noise after installation?

    Huh? Do you hear wind??

As far as I'm aware, mine roll up all the way. No wind noise here.

I installed the WetherTech in-channels on my 2020 after having them for quite a few years on my 2010. If they are installed on a warmer day, and the windows are kept rolled up for the first few days, there is no issue with them interfering after they settle in. Also, I’ve had not problem through Minnesota winters and countless passes through the car wash.

I tried the Weathertech in channel window deflectors and returned them because with them in the window would barely close all the way. I see a lot of people using them, but I don’t get how the windows still work. The motor can barely push the window shut the last inch or so due to the deflectors in the channel. I went with stick-on ones.

Honestly, there's no answer to that. Define "best." It comes down to a personal choice of which you like more. Installed properly, you'll find those of us who like both.

I don't have that problem at all with mine. The windows work perfectly and I've taken the truck through high pressure car washes several times with them in. No issues.

Just installed the AVS in channels on mine. Pretty easy overall and I like them a lot. I accidentally broke one during install (just me being an idiot) but I contacted AVS to see if i could but an individual one instead of the pack and they said they'll send out a new set to me with no issue! So, I say AVS! They look good and good customer service

Well, there’s more than two, but please, educate me. I know I need them, cuz it has rained on me, and it goes right in like no other car, or truck I’ve ever had.
Not worried about the install. So, they are the same, function, and looks? Looks are debatable, function is function.

I think I'm looking to order the in channel AVS low profile smoke ones.. price wise and the look as well as I dont care for how far foreward the weathertech ones go compared to the AVS.. I just wanted to get them off the door exteriors, and remove some the drag, and make cleaner visual lines., also make clearing snow off easier. the hood deflector is a PITA in the winter.. same for the ditch lights.. might think about removing the lights & deflector in the winter next year. leave the brackets on..

Amazon has the AVS low profile DC smoked version for $53....

Same thing literally happened to me. Ordered mine from Amazon. No questions asked when I explained the situation. Will stick with AVS

Super nice. All the the others windows went on fine, I was just being impatient during the install.
