Considering what Avid had to work with, with that lower protruding bumper lip, not bad.

I can tell you that there were a few attempts made and that front end is very difficult yo work with. So many lines and that lower lip....

This is @0uTkAsT 3rd gen. He can speak a bit more to the fitment on a 3rd gen. His truck was one of the models used for mock-up.

Brandon is considering an option without the outer hoops as well.

I'd be in on this with the lightbar and outer hoops. I think it looks great.

    Well executed!

However, I do believe that a bar coming out from under the truck and joining under the hoop bar would finish off the corner.

Are you going to do something similar with the 2nd Gen model(s)?

PS: @0uTkAsT has been playing. Your front skid is all smashed! ;)

I agree, I think that it would look good that way and tie the hoops in better with the design. I'm still interested in it though.

... but that filler plate logo add-on has given me an idea for when I relocate my licence plate.

@iJonny would something like that be possible with the bars connecting to the fog light hoops?

We discussed a version without the hoops that had some kind of gusset there to fill the gap. Regardless, anything is possible man and Brandon is good about custom orders.

I did this thread to build some hype and gain some interest. Avid wants to do a group buy on the front bar and then the rear when he gets it done.

I sent Brandon the link to this thread and ill have him come give it a read and answer some questions.

I'd be down for a GB if it included Gen 2 as well.

No I meant keep the hoops and add a bar that comes off the main mounts and connects to the corner of the hoop, kind of like the picture of the 2nd gen one.

Ok man, that may be an easy addition to add to the jig. With the smaller tube that the hoop is done with?

Lets gets a list going of 2nd and 3rd gens and let me take it to Brandon. We were thinking a run of 10-20 bars. Lets see if we can group them together.

We considered adding a tube support on that outside lower corner. There were two reasons we didn't. It seamed to clash with the fog light hoop being different bends and angle into the center piece and also we were trying to keep this bumper guard simple looking. The front of the 16s is a lot more difficult to work with so this bumper guard is much more complexed than the the previous versions. So the extra pieces like that we left out. But we can definitely add them in on request.

Without the fog hoops, we'd add a plate gusset similar to the lower center to give that outside piece the support it would loose with the hoops not being there.
