Auto Shifter Knob Covers???

So, I've been looking and looking and can't find anything. I don't want to do a whole shift mod swap but would rather find a nice leather cover for the shifter. I have yet to find anything to fit. Anyone hear or have any luck with this? Thanks

Thank you. It looks like they just have manual knobs and boot covers. Ive seen all king of auto shofter knob leather covers. Just not one that will fit my 01 Tacoma. Not like its a huge deal but Im having fun adding little personal details in my taco. The knob is one I've been wanting to change for a while. Thanks tho

Did you find a vendor for the leather auto shift knob?

 

unfortunately. no. Kinda gave up on it and haven't looked into a leatherworker doing a custom job yet

 

Some 3rd gen 4runners came with leather auto shift knobs. They were all black though.

Lexus SC300s and SC400s have a very similar shift knob in leather, but I think it's actually smaller. I haven't been able to find one at a junkyard to measure.

 

I did see some 4runner sticks that were black. Not leather but like the plastic rubber material. They do in fact fit, I just haven't gone through the trouble of finding one and piecing it out. Since then, my money has gone to fixing my front end and replacing all my bushings so the search of a leatherworker has been paused.

And a TRD round shift knob (part no. PTR04-00000-06 ) and you will be all set.
Note the boot doesn’t fit perfect, plan on some high-temp hot glue gun and small strips of wood. Worth it.

also @REDeye jedi I have a link in my sig for the shifter removal. I have the T4R black version right now. but yes I want something a little nicer. need to see if there is a T-handle version that would work

When I got it back, I had to carefully trim around the inside of the overdrive button to get it to click in...be careful
