Austin Area TW Chapter (all gens welcome, even T4Rs; heck, just make it a Toyota and we're good)

They can sell it as new. 1000 miles isn't really a lot for a car to pick up on a lot with test drives and being used as a demo by people who want to take it to lunch etc. I bought my 2013 Hyundai Genesis that was "new" in the middle of 2014 with 3000 miles on it because the sales manager liked it and took it to lunch sometimes and people had test driven it. I ended up getting a good deal on it because of the mileage and it never gave me a problem in the 2 years I drove the balls off it before I traded it on the 4runner.

Great ride Chad! You can see why that's one of my fav places to ride. Next Wednesday, you drive, and you choose the ride. Options include town lake 11 mile loop, slaughter creek 1 lap, or McKinney falls state park where it'll be some exploring for us both.

 

As far as eats in Fredericksburg, Main Street is a PITA... especially if we are in a convoy. There are some places off the main drag but not sure on them. Maybe Luckenbach as @Texoma suggested, or Stonewall, Johnson City... Not sure of route but something to think about. But I can also vouch for Rathskeller, or Otto's. There is a big visitors lot behind Otto's that we can park at either way so we are out of the main drag and can walk to somewhere nearby.

 

Otto's sounds like a winner to me.

I have lived in the area for a few years now. I've had a 1st gen and two 2nd gen Tacomas in the past. Currently have a 4th and 5th gen 4Runner. I've been browsing TW again lately, sure is a lot more entertaining than T4R.org !

 

He rode pretty hard today so I am betting nothing will wake him from the recovery sleep hahaha

 

y'all are making me want to get a bike... Need to do something to get my ass moving again.

 

Do it!!! So many places to ride mountain bikes and road bikes. It's my favorite means of exercise

 

We do have some sweet Schwinn Beach Cruisers collecting dust in the shed. But I wouldn't mind updating and upgrading. Not sure if I'd be able to swing another hobby past the boss right now but it's on the wish list.
