Hey there- I have an ATV @ 49" wide. Space between the wheel wells looks to be 46". Has anyone hauled an atv back there by getting the front tires up on the wheel wells? Any concern with that?

I could obviously just use a trailer with a lot less hassle but it would be nice to fit it in the bed.

How are others hauling their atv's?

I have a 2nd gen Tacoma and fit my Yamaha kodiak in the bed with the tailgate down. Strapped in of course.

More recent, with all the gear I now have in the bed. Still fits no problem

Yours looks to fit between the wheel wells though doesnt it? Or are the fronts up on the well?

They barely fit between the wheels. My buddy's bike doesn't quite though. When we've pulled that, we just put a wood plank across the wheel-well, where that slit is cut, and that works like a charm.

So you just butt it up to the wheel well and dont bother going on or over it? And then let the atv sit in the gate? Any concerns with that much weight on the gate?

My atv is narrow enough to fit in the bed. Little if any weight is on the tailgate.
