I run them for maybe 20k miles, stepped up to a 33 is the only reason I got rid of them. Did well in the mud, horrible on wet roads, and pretty loud but that’s pretty much all mud terrains. Had them in 265/70r17s

Tried these on a few of our fleet trucks and had issues with them delaminating so beware. We no longer use them for that reason. Would not go flat but the entire tread cap would separate and come off the carcass.

You understand that a tire delaminating at speed could, at best, seriously damage the truck? At worst cause an accident?

I will never understand why people cheap out on tires, it makes no sense.

Not to get too personal or anything. But you should save up and buy some better ones. Plus it's good practice to get good at saving.

If you reas the comments u will see it was just one defective one and atturo sent him a new one to replace it right away and product you buy could be defective even brand new out the box that is why they have warranty the person in the video is actually still running the same tires with no problems gotta look at everything cant just judge by the title

You have one poster here who had several issues with these in fleet trucks. The video happened when mounting. The point of posting the video is to show you that the poster on. this thread who reported more than one delaminating issue wasn't a one off. I could give a hoot about whether the guy in the video was stupid enough to run them after one disintegrated while mounting it.

Now imagine that happening while you're cruising down the highway at 70 mph. Replacing the tire would be the least of your concerns at that point.

You are buying MT tires for looks - correct? Are your existing tires in good condition? If this is the case, then my recommendation would be to send these back and get a refund. Wait until you can afford tires that have not been reported to delaminate.

Gotcha it’s something ill take into consideration ill wait until they show up and then ill make a decision if to keep them or return them obviously before i mount them

Yes we had issues with them. Installed 20 of these on 5 trucks and had 5 delaminate within 10k miles. Removed all 20 and went back with KM3s.

Tire delamination defects can happen to any tire manufacturer and not just Atturos.

    https://www.thetirelawyers.com/tire-litigation/tread-separation-faq/

"virtually all tire manufacturers in the United States have suffered steel-belted radial tire tread belt separations since the 1970s."

"Recent examples of this phenomenon include:
    • Firestone ATX and Wilderness tires on Ford Explorers
    • Continental General tires on Lincoln Navigators
    • Firestone Steeltex tires on Ford Excursions
    • Goodyear Load Range E tires on 15-passenger vans"

Plenty of reports of delamination in BF Goodrich tires listed here:

    https://www.consumeraffairs.com/tires/goodrich.html

Other causes of delamination listed here:

I came upon this thread while researching Atturo tire tread delaminating and tread separation. I have since found a number of thread with people having the same issue. All 4 of my Atturo Trail Blade XT tires that are on my Yukon are delaminating to varying degrees, the worst is in the attached image. I bought the tires because of the lower cost and I was limited in what I could find that had a good off road tread and were affordable. For under $800 for 22" tires I figured they were worth a try. I purchased the tires from Simpletire.com, mediocre service but they were the least expensive so like the tires, you get what you pay for.

At first I thought that is was only two tires that had a tread separation issue. I emailed Simpletire.com. They said I needed to reach out to Atturo. I reached out to Atturo and they said I needed to talk to SimpleTire.com. Round and round and back to Simpletire. Simpletire said that if I want to warranty the tires I need to send them in for evaluation. What am I supposed to do, put my car up on cinder blocks for a week? In addition, pay to have the tires taken off, pay to ship them and hope for a warranty? I'm estimating $70 per tire for a know problem!? I got a 10% discount to purchase replacements rather than risk paying the money to ship and be without a car for a +/- a week. Wahoooo!!. I purchased the new tires, had them installed today and the tire guy found that all four of the tires have the same problem. I hadn't noticed the other 2 because the damage was on the inside. I asked if I had purchased the tires from them if they would be warrantied and he gave a resounding "OH YEAH".

My advice is if you are in the market for tires I would avoid these Atturo tires. They are fine in dry condition, mediocre in wet and terrible in snow, like unbelievably bad. If you already have the tires then keep an eye on them. I am thankful that nobody in my family was injured or anyone in oncoming traffic was injured as a result of known defective tires. Again, you get what you pay for.
