    I am fixing to apply for my first job that requires a resume. So far I think I have the majority of it done correctly. I still have to write an objective though. What would some of you suggest I put in the objective spot? I am completely new to this so I have been googling trying to figure out what to put. I just thought I could get a more detailed answer from my TW family. From what I have read on the internet so far, my objectives need to be relative to the job requirements. Here is the requirements of the job:

    SUMMARY: The Material Handler/Fulfillment team member is responsible for executing storage, material handling, replenishment and fulfillment functions within the Plant while meeting our World Class Manufacturing and Distribution standards. This position is responsible for helping maintain inventory levels and accuracy. The operation of mechanical lifting devices is required.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: none

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    · Pick, pack, and load product for customer orders accurately and efficiently
    · Key all pertinent information into the computer system
    · Ensure all required paperwork is completed
    · Replenish pick locations as needed
    · Operate forklifts and hand trucks within the Safety standards
    · Maintain and switch batteries in the lifts per the Material Handling procedures
    · Report forklift maintenance issues/error codes and fill out inspection sheets daily
    · Participate and assist inventory cycle counts and reconciliation
    · Maintain high levels of housekeeping as it pertains to our standards and 5S work
    · Maintain accuracy as it pertains to the shipping metrics
    · Operate semi-automatic pallet wrappers as needed
    · Participate in the Industrial Stretching Program
    · Participate in the Safety program
    · Adhere to all Company, Local, State and Federal regulations and policies


    OTHER NECESSARY FUNCTIONS:
    · Follows all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by GMCR and the department.
    · Performs other duties as requested by management.





    QUALIFICATIONS:
    · A silver or higher level Career Readiness Certificate preferred. Please contact your local TN Career Center for more information.
    · Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    · Knowledge of basic warehouse principles
    · Strong communication skills, verbal and written
    · Basic reading/math/computer skills
    · Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
    · Fork lift experience required
    · Strong attention to detail is a must
    · Ability to follow directions, be punctual and get along with others
    · Ability to follow GMCR policies and procedures
    · Ability to work a flexible schedule
    · Positive attitude with ability to work a fast paced environment
    · Repetitive motion is involved

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
    · Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently with mechanical assistance
    · Ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis and 50 pounds occasionally.
    · Ability to constantly lift, bend, stretch and stand during entire shift
    · Ability to push/pull up to 1,500 pounds using supplied equipment
