In my area, the town would handle that, not a plumber. Good luck and post the results of who/how it will be fixed.

    Reserected from the dead.
The city needs to come out and shut the water off at the street. Then repairs can be made.

i have already called the city they came out and looked at it and said the break was after the meter section going to the house and not the street side, so that's not the city's responsibility.

If you want to be scammed, then feel free to choose ARS. If you prefer honest people and good workers to do your repairs then do NOT choose ARS. I cannot vouch for John Moore, but I can certainly tell you that ARS is the worst company when it comes to work that is honest. Just google their numerous lawsuits and them being made to pay huge sums when they were sued by the Attorney General in Arizona and Oregon. Be careful.

ARS came by this morning and quoted me $575.00 to fix the leak. not knowing how much a job like this would cost, i called a local company here in sugar land and they quoted me $400.00 they just finished the job it took them almost 3 hours to do the job, there was a lot of digging involved. i'm glad i dind't go with ARS. thanks for your input
