Sorry I don't have a photo to go along with this. But... wow. It's not even close. Might as well call it Army Black. Yes, i shook it well. Yes, it was OEM. Anyone know of a company providing a closer color match touch up pen?

Hard to tell from the photo but it’s not good.

Can you post a link? I'm in the market for an army green touch up pen as well.

have you tried doing a sample by applying 2-3 coats on top of a piece of paper and also topping it with clear. It might just be that you’ve only done 1 coat and lighting might be making it look darker.

I'd find a local paint shop and ask them to make you a touch up bottle matching your paint not just the paint code. It's going to be more than the little pens from the dealer but worth it.

Looks like the product is no longer available... Also, it wasn't a pen, it was brush-on. Used it to protect the holes I drilled into my hood and quarter panels when installing the hood struts.

Have you considered it might be the wrong color paint in the tube. When I bought my truck last year I bought a touch up paint as well to have when needed. What was in the pen was just straight clear coat. I took it back and they said they had no idea what happened, I used my vin number to order it and the number for the color was correct on the bottle (midnight black metallic) but what was in there was just clear. Also, when I purchased touch up pen from Honda for my green CRV they gave me gold, once again I gave them my VIN to order it.

Get a sheet of paper. Test multiple coats. Do it right.

The two smaller ones are almost invisible. That’s what’s left of the larger one.
