    Diff drop
    Carrier bearing drop
    Camburg UCA's
    1/4 top plate
    17×8.5 Methods w/ 0 offset
Not sure on tires yet. Might try 295's o_O

Do I need rear axle shims for this? If so what degree? Can't find much about it..Anything else I may need?

    So...
    Don’t do the diff drop
Don’t do the carrier bearing drop
Do measure your angles before and after the install
    You’ll probably need a 3* shim. I just did 887s and Dakars and needed a 2.5*.

You can't guess/be given the answer to this question. You'll have to measure before and after drive shaft angles. That's the only way.

I would do axel shims before I would do a diff drop if eliminating vibs is your concern. And typically the degrees necessary is equal to the inches in lift you’re adding to the rear.

Rule of thumb is 1 degree for every 1 inch of lift so if 3 inch lift, 3 degree shims as a start.

Consider adding ECGS bushing replacement for needle bearing.

save yourself the hassle of taking it apart after install by adding a 2.5/3 degree shim from the start.

Why not diff drop or bearing drop? Everywhere I have look calls for one anything over 1.5 inches. Plus it makes since to do it, but it's my first tacoma

lol that's what I'm doing. More chances of needing a 3 degree shim when I put my Dakar HD pack on so I'm putting it on and if I gotta change it, that's what I'll do

start at rear shims! the front stuff is not as frequently a requirement, the diff drop is a personal preference that most feel is not needed. i didn't use the one that came with my kit and don't plan to

i used shims with my dakar pack on my regular cab with success, had no vibes. used a 3 degree with my add a leaf on my 2018 trd access cab and removed the factory shim that looked to be around 1 degree, drives the same vibe wise as when stock.

It’s generally not necessary to do a diff drop. I’ve got 2.75” up front and my CVs look totally fine. Additionally, you’re literally putting important shit (your diff) closer to the ground... where it could get smashed. We lift our trucks to get ground clearance, then some dudes lower it right back down. Doesn’t make since to me! Lol

    No, not necessarily.

I have a 3” lift, no carrier bearing drop kit, no diff drop kit, no shims, and no vibes

Dont shoot at the hip on this one, measure before your lift so you can see how it changes. I just threw shims and spacers at mine instead of measuring before lifting and I'm still screwing with it two years down the road.

Lol yea best one I've read so far is the first one that comes up if you search driveline vibes. I've tried 2, 2.5, 3, and 3.5 shims with various CB shimming, so I've recently pulled my shims out and seeing if just CB shims will get it vibe free. The vibes arent bad enough to break anything but they wear on your nerves after a while
