So it looks like I can't use the factory hitch with it, right? How was it to install, easy? How does the receiver compare to the factory receiver? Is the mounting as beefy? Thanks for your input as I am trying to decide w/o breaking the bank. Thanks

From what I read about the Oedro, yes you can use the factory hitch. The Hooke Rd bumper like I got has a pass thru hitch for the receiver that is behind the tag mount and a hole to the side of the tag to mount the hitch plug that requires some shaving down of the factory plug housing to make it fit. It gets the plug up into the bumper for more clearance.

Looks rather chintzy. It’s a expensive way to have a testosterone infused rear bumper and maybe some recovery points I honestly would not trust.

Never heard of them. So no

It's not a matter of purist it's a matter of common sense
if you get rear ended and they pay $1300, you spend $1100 on a quality part
    not $500 on some bullshit

If you like the way it looks, and the visuals are your priority, it's probably a fine choice.

If your intent is to have something bashable, or to actually use the recovery points for pulling, I'd look somewhere else - they specify that it's made of 5/32" steel, which is not really going to do much more for you in terms of armor than the factory cake pan, particularly given that the steel itself is also probably not the highest quality.
