Having the dreaded steering wheel shake at 45-60 mph. Just got aligned and balanced at the dealer. They are telling me I should look into wheel centric rings.
I thought I read somewhere that all Black Rhino wheels were hub centric.

    Opinions ?

Most all 6 lug wheels are bored to the toyota hub bore since it's the largest hub bore. Which wheels do you have you can look up on their website and see what the hub bore is to be sure. What tires do you have? Have you had them road forced to see if there is high runout or anything? Lifted? Lots of things can cause a vibration and it takes a little more narrowing down can't really tell you what it is causing it over the internet since well can't diagnose it.

No they aren't. Well at least the ones I had were larger than my hubs and were supposed to fit my truck.

They do fit your truck just because it's not hub centric doesn't mean it doesn't fit your truck. Typical bore for aftermarket wheels is 108mm our hub is 106.5 so that's not that far off.

    Possibly problem 1

Definately problem 2, giving some potential confirmation to problem 1 being a problem

If one can't properly install lug centric wheels on a vehicle they have no business messing with mounting wheels.

IE, centering rings are a convenience, not a requirement.

Whoever does your work needs to know how to find an out of round tire and/or wheel.

Note: not all shops, even ones with good equipment (like Hunter Road Force) have techs that know, or are willing, to use it properly.

Mine aren't hub centric, no rings. Lug centric works with no vibration for over 2 years now.

What I should have said was I was told they were hub centric and would fit my truck. For me this meant same hub bore. They were 112mm if memory is correct. I never did get those wheels to balance. I think one may have been out of round even though I had the road force balance done. Most tire shop guys don't really give a shit. Yes I know how to properly install and tighten lugs in a cross pattern.

Most of their designs are listed to be hub centric but in the case like yours that mount as a lug centric fitment, they carry hub rings for this scenario. I would recommend going ahead and get the rings but most aftermarket wheels are made to be lug centric to fit many different applications so I doubt the lack of hub rings to be the cause of the vibes. If you went with a larger tire with the wheels, look into places that can perform road force balancing. Next would be evaluating lift and driveline for source of vibes.

All new under the floor, factory frame swap. Bucket seat swap. Bilstein 4600 shocks and X Runner rear swaybar. 4:10 DIfferential. 225/60/17 on Sienna 5 spoke alloy wheels. After market black headlights. OE replica fog lights. OE Intermittent wipers plug and play. Leather steering wheel (OE eBay) that came with a cruise stalk, I bought the $38 OE wire to plug into the clock spring, plug and play.
All wheels, what ever the car or truck, are hub-centric. If the center bore of the wheel is larger than the center bore of the vehicle, as is typically the case on after market wheels, you must use centering rings.
Someone is saying lug centric above and that is not a real world situation (except in some old stuff from the 1970's as the newest example) it's simply not done on modern consumer vehicles. Saying 108mm wheel bore is good on a 106.5 hub is not realistic either, that might as well be a mile, it would not be acceptable on any level. If anybody does that they're crazy. Check the h the wheel manufacturer. Also, 45-65 is the typical mis-balanced wheel speed.
