Are all 3rd gen interior door panels the same across all trim levels?
Just picked up a 18 dcsb pro and both driver doors have some scratches on the interior door panels. Not a big deal to me but I want to keep my eye open if some good used door panels ever pop up.
    Thanks!

They are, but may have a few minor trim differences. Good luck finding any without scratches. They scratch looking at them. They are just a bad choice of material on Toyotas part.

I’ve heard that they can scratch by saying scratch near them.

Non-TRD models are a lighter color with a different padded section and the Limiteds are different also.

Yeah, the plastic does scratch, but it is also durable. We had cars that were more scratch resistant but were stupidly brittle.

Thanks for filling me. If it’s very common and easy to scratch them I’ll probably skip replacing them ever.

i can appreciate that trade-off. would rather have a material more durable that scratches than something that doesn't scratch but is brittle. maybe a plastics/polymer engineer can chime in.

There are also a few oddball looking door panels with orange or red on them, think it was an option on SR5's.

My short-term memory seems to be going so when I look, I see scratches, and I don't know if its the truck or me who's causing them. Then there's the wife. Probably all three at play.
