Are access cab Tacomas not that popular?

I've been in the market for a used Tacoma and seems like double cab v6 configs sell like hot cakes all day for well over $38k. But access cab seem to sit for months and months with no takers regardless of config:

I have watched the price drop gradually on all three but still no sell, this weekend I plan on going to look at the white one (1st link). The few people on youtube have nothing but positive things to say about them so I'm just wondering why these haven't sold already?

Most drivers transport people, not cargo. So the back seat just makes more sense.

Even when I was single with a dog, it still wasn't big enough as a daily driver.

Access cab's really do represent an old era for trucks.

With that said, WAY less demand for them. We sell 1 for every hundred double cabs.

If resale is a concern, double cab's are the answer.

I love my access cab, but my kids are all driving so I don't need to cart them around anymore. Personally I think they are way better looking aesthetically. And that's not meant to make it seem like I don't like the double cab I'm just a bit old school and prefer to have the bed longer than the cab lol

You wear the access cab like a favorite denim jacket, room for you, your good looking girl and a weeks worth of groceries.

Back seat passengers are way overrated.

Forget the red one.... there are no caps on the battery! It looks to me like it's been bastardized.

I wish I bought a 4 door model with the extended bed. The access cab just doesn't have enough room for me sometimes, and I'm the only one that rides in it. I only bought it because my prior A/C seemed adequate. But for some reason, these newer model access cabs seem to lack interior room.

I love my access cab. I rarely have more than one passenger but often use that extra foot of cargo area.

Access cabs are awesome. But its torture for people to be back there for more than a few blocks. Its pretty tight for anyone with legs. Just pull the back seatbelts and then use it for 3 people carpool lanes for that matter (but with 2 people).

But if you only ever have 1 friend with you at a time its perfect.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
When I bought my 2nd gen DCLB ('06), you couldn't find them anywhere, it was all AC's. When I bought my AC ('17), it was getting harder to find them. The dealers were really pushing the DC's by then.

Personally, I don't have the need for the DC these days, there' is more of a need for the LB.

Honestly, the AC's suicide doors can be a PITA in a parking lot. The DCLB's extra wheelbase was a PITA in a parking lot. Each needs strategic parking.

This is exactly why I bought an AC. I use the bed a lot for mountain bikes, tools, wood, etc. I prefer the look of bed to cab ratio than the DC. Double cab with longer bed also doesn't appeal to me personally...just looks too long..but to each his own..

lol, all Tacos have a "bitch bed" for pickup standards. Not to mention the base models you typically see with single or AC seem to usually have the 2.7
