Which Company would you prefer to do business with and why?

I had the opportunity go to the SEMA Show this year and talked to both companies. I’d like to hear what a majority of the 3rd gen community has to say with any past or present experiences.

What products are you specifically referring to? Are you asking about the companies themselves or the product offering? I have products from both companies. I have an ARB compressor but a TJM air locker.

If im correct TJM originated in Australia and has been in the game as long as ARB or longer.

I have a tjm awning on my truck and am very happy with it, build quality was good and so was the price. But from what I remember ordering it. it’s all imported and only some shops carry there stuff due to it not being well renowned in North America’s. I dealt with Sarah @LikeABoss4x4 and they were great to deal with. Also a member on here.

Both experience with them directly, their distributors, and products.

Yes they’ve been around for almost as long as ARB from what I gathered at SEMA. The representative I spoke to was very quick to get me a goodie bag when I mentioned stopping by the ARB booth.

I’m asking since I’ll be getting into the parts and accessories game for the off road market.

I’d like to get a better insight from the community vs only a rep and/or my own opinions.

Depends on which one had the better particular offering for what I'm looking for. IF, ALL other things ARE equal, ARB is a little better known and would get my vote.... but how well each product fits my needs would be the first consideration.

In person they usually look good, but in some photos those bumpers make it look like a really bad under bite

Like the ARB bumpers and products are to me, hands down better. The TJM bumper in the example above looks like every other one on the market.

I like ARB, they were very helpful in determining the proper springs for my needs and seemed really nice on the phone. I always wanted an ARB bumper so I went with their suspension system as well since they were designed to go together, and I have been very happy with everything (I have their recovery kit as well), granted that was before I got on here and realized there were a ton of other options. I don't mind they are priced a little high for most stuff since they also seem to also have good quality control. Haven't heard of TJM tbh.

Quality control both in there products and in how they deal with customer concerns.
