I did do a search and couldnt find anything related to this so I thought I would share my experience with you all that might be interested. I also wasnt sure where to put the thread so please move it if needed. I recently purchased my first ARB 50qt fridge/freezer. Its great, love it, however when I set the the temperature to 32% I sort of expected it to all but freeze items in the bottom section. Well it didnt, it did keep things cool but not cold. When I put a refridgerator thermometer in it I discovered the digital display readout was off almost 10%. The inside temperature was warmer than what it was showing on the display. This was after letting it run for several days in the house so was definately cooled and working. After talking with tech support at ARB, there is a way to easily adjust this. You simply hold down the + and - buttons together for about 5 seconds. You will see AOF appear on the display, release the buttons. Using either + or - simply adjust the setting up or down to recalibrate the digital display readout. Add degrees if the fridge is running warm or minus if its too cold. After, the display will blink to acknowledge /accept the new setting and adjust accordingly. This will not make the fridge get any colder than its lowest setting it simply corrects what you are seeing on the digital display verses what the actual temperature inside is. Mine now is running properly and what the display shows is what the inside temperature is. Hope this helps anyone who has had similar issues with theirs.

Thanks for this. I have had my suspicions that my 50qt. was running warmer than indicated. I'll pick up a good thermometer and give this a shot.

A quick update: After about eight months using the fridge on multiple trips we've decided that 25deg. is the optimal temp setting. That seems crazy to me that this product would ship with a discrepancy like that, but we're glad that we finally got it figured out. During one ten day trip early on we did lose some food before we realized we couldn't leave the fridge set at 34deg. I did use a thermometer like you suggested and set at 34 the actual temp was 45! No bueno. Buyer beware I guess.
