I currently have a new in box twin screw but I think it might be overkill for airing up tires and occasionally soccer balls for the kids.

My question is will a single arb be enough for airing up a 285/70/17 with no issues? My fear is burning it up.

Ya it will just take longer. I wouldn’t worry about burning up the compressor but ARBs run hot so you can burn up your air line of it doesn’t have a solenoid

I’ll ask the shop to install a solenoid when I have them install it then. Thank you for the help!

Ok awesome! I’ll have to post the twin up on OfferUp and such since I still can’t post ads on here. Thank you!

    From the ARB website -

The single-motor compressor kit, CKMA12KIT, is perfect for inflating up to a 35″ tire and activating ARB Air Lockers®, while the twin-motor compressor kit, CKMTA12KIT, provides more output to fill tires up to a 40” or use pneumatic tools (with optional tank) and actuate ARB Air Lockers®.

I paid $598 plus sales tax, since I bought it local. I was thinking $570 plus shipping. Does that sound like a fair price to ask?

I don't know given the current supply chain issues so definitely try and get what you can for it. We hold frequent ARB group buys (or used to) and they were usually about a 20% discount.

Any idea when the next group buy might be? I've been looking for a compressor and any discounts help.

Not sure, with global supply issues it may be a while. Just keep an eye out in the Group buy section Ramonortiz usually coordinates them.

KEEP THE DUAL!!! I seriously wish I had the dual compressor. And that was just on the OEM 31s. You can't go wrong with the higher capacity. It will also run cooler since the dual has a fan.

I have the single and it works great but if I could justify the extra money I would have gone with the double

    A bunch of junk
I'll be hunting for a compressor to install behind my backseat. Thinking about ditching my spare and just running with a compressor and good plug kit. (No rocks around here to slice tires)
