I have been searching for an ARB bumper for my 2004 Tacoma. Saw one from a 2002 4Runner on Craigslist. Would this be a straight bolt on, or require major modification?

I would check ARB`s website for different part #`s for each vehicle.

At the least new brackets if your not worried just how perfect it fits

Then so often the brackets never get removed the bumper just unbolted from the brackets

Sometimes the bumpers turn out to be copies of name brands someone bought being quite clueless

Thanks. Sounds like I would need some extra parts coming the other direction.

The mount from a t4r to a taco are completely different. Don't do it unless it's cheap, which leave you with left over money to money to modify.

Then again, if you modify, t4r arb bumper will not aline correctly on a taco.

    Define Cheap ??

1/8 the cost of the correct new bumper

    1/4 ?? 3/8 ?? of new ??

I'd seen arb run 2-300 depending on condition. Heck, I bought mine for 200 with minor scuff and slightly damaged. I didn't care, my truck is by all mean not show quality. I since added numerous dents etc from off road. It's still better then the factory one.

So yea, if I find one within that price from a t4r, I'll spend another hundred buck on metal to fab it on a taco.

But the one I bought was from a taco, save me some penny.
