For those with an ARB Bull Bumper installed. What did you do with the inner liners in your wheel wells? Right now I just have mine folded up and zip tied to get them out of the way.

Thought I'd go ahead and post a photo of it too.

The fender liners are important in that they help keep dirt and water from getting sucked into your air intake...when you remove them, the intake is exposed to everything that the tires throw up into the wheel well. I would make sure to put them back on if you can. Or, install a snorkel.

The lower front liners either have to be cut or folded back like I've done mine. I'm debating to cut them back or just secure them better and leave as is.

As for the snorkel, it's in the near distant future.

As long as the intake isn't completely exposed to the elements you should be okay, I don't have a 2nd gen but when I took the fender liners completely out of my 1st gen I noticed the intake was entirely exposed...I also have a friend with a 2nd gen that removed his fender liners entirely when he put 35s on and nearly hydrolocked his engine on a trail we did when we all hit a big water pit. So long as the intake isn't completely exposed you should be okay. My friend with a 2nd gen ordered a snorkel the next day after that trip though lol.

Cut mine off as you can see....just the front half of the inner liners

Love my ARB by the way. It has already took care of 2 deer and a low speed hit on an Accord. Not even a dent.

Deer and a neighbor that can't drive were my major reasons for getting the ARB bumper.

I folded mine up into the arb bumper and used some zip ties to keep it there. I'm trying to keep dirt and spray out of that area to limit any eventual rust issues - figure every little bit helps and you can't even see the zip ties unless you get under the truck.

Folded in mine, and zipped tied in place. I will probably come up with a better solution eventually, as a lot of dirt and spray gets by.

I zip tied them up to the bracket underneath the headlights. I'm glad I didn't cut them because I am getting rid of the ARB bumper for a low profile setup that utilizes the factory bumper cover.

Just ordered one of these bumpers from Main Line Overland in Bow NH. Got a great price and good customer service. I'll pick it up Saturday at their rigs and roasts event. Come check it out; I'll be in my Land Cruiser

I’ve never had a bumper like this, but really like them. How much will they knock down mpg?

I made a small bracket out of a 3/4 inch strip of flat bar aluminum and trimmed the liner at the bottom of the bumper

I just folded and zip tied like you did. Haven't had any issues with that approach in the 4 years I've had it on. I think that's what the instructions told us to do anyway.

I didn't check it before so not sure if there was much of a hit or not.
