Does anyone use those aftermarket projector beam horseshoe aftermarket replacement lights by ANZO? Does anybody know what bulb comes stock in these units (the projector) from the factory. I would very much like to upgrade to anything better, brighter and more white (6000k, or whatever). I haven't tried to pry the rubber grommet/seal off a unit yet - is it possible?
    Any help will be appreciated,
    Adam

OR, (as I severely regret selling my OEMs) I could get some OEMs and upgrade the light source. I DONT WANT BLUE! HIDs, xenonor what? I don't even know the terminology. I guess I would like to replace the ANZO bulb. Can antbondy help me out?

If you dont want blue but dont want yellow... 6000K is the best... I had them in my past truck and loved them! I didn't have them in a projector lens so the light did go everywhere, but it lit the road up great! I am wondering myself if putting aftermarket HIDs in a aftermarket projector set (not the retro fit) would work.

They dont have great reviews from what I've read. Only aftermarket lights I'd recommend are Depo. If u want HID projectors a true retrofit is the only way to go

6000k is getting into the blue range.
    5000k is pure white.
4300k is the color of sunlight and will give you the most usable light.
    3000k is yellow.

None of those things matter unless you perform a HID projector retrofit (the kind where you actually open the headlight, not a drop in bulb kit). Any extra light you get from an HID drop in kit is going to go straight up or into oncoming drivers' eyes. If you just want brighter light out of a stock reflector then you should be looking into more expensive halogen or LED bulbs. PIAA, Phillips, or some of the other bulbs recommended in the "Lighting" section of the forum.

I haven't looked into the lighting sections thickly be pointless but on the back of the announcement the main (not the horseshoe or led) had a rubber grommet? thingingy which I guess you can just pry off? Under this rubber housing is the bulb? Any idea what it is (I.e. H13)? Just so I can look for something in the white (5000k?) range, not the yellowish it is now?

You're kind of hard to understand so I'm guessing here at what you want. Yes, there is a rubber boot on the back of the housing that you have to take off to get to the bulbs. Every housing has to have a way to change the bulbs. I have no idea what size the bulbs are, you'll have to look at the manual/website or pull them out and see for yourself. Yes you can just buy some different halogen bulbs that give you different colors if that's all you want. Just beware, you get exactly what you pay for. If you want to pay $10 for the bulb, or buy from a sketchy guy on eBay you're almost certainly going to be disappointed.
