I bought some cheap aftermarket headlights (about $150) on ebay a couple years back for my Tacoma. After only a few months I had the moisture problem. I live in Utah and it seemed as soon as fall hit the headlights held moisture from that point on. Not knowing what to do I just kept them on the truck for about 2 years. Finally this summer I decided I needed to replace them. I did some research and bought the more expensive Anzo brand headlights. They say they come with a 1 year warranty against moisture and other defects. It has been about 4 months and bang, moisture in it just like the cheap ones. I had tried to contact Anzo with no returns on any emails or calls. Has anyone had this problem with them before and know what direction I should turn?

Buy some 3m window weld and reseal the headlight. They probably use low quality adhesive to seal it that's why it fogs up so easily. Continue to try and contact them but if they don't respond best bet you're not gonna get anything out of them so do what I said above and use them for as long as you can. Lesson here, you get what you pay for.

Check to see if your headlights are getting moisture around the headlight area. The likely hood of Anzo headlights leaking are very slim as they use a cold seal sealent as is really good for keeping moisture out. If it has happened twice wondering if they are getting moisture in somewhere besides the seal. Are your headlight boots on tight on the back of the headlight?

Not really sure if you understand what I was saying. The Anzo Headlights on my truck that I am having a problem with cost $450, which I don't think is too cheap. They have a 1 year warranty, but Anzo has been hard to get a hold of. Just was looking to see if someone had delt with a warranty with them before.

It is getting moisture on the lens, not on the case. I will check that for sure. Do you know a good solution to get the current moisture out? Do I need to take the headlight apart?

Even fully sealed lights will get condensation due to temp differences. Many have said you should try and seal them yourself and this may work. The other issue could be the breather they use not venting properly thus trapping moisture.

This is why sealed insulated glass has desicant in it. When the temp changes it is absorbed. When the desicant is full and can absorb no more Windows that are still sealed get moisture build up.

I have a set of their tailights and anzo specifically says they are not to be used in wet environments just to cover their ass. When I read it I burst out laughing.

Read your paperwork before even trying to return them. I'd bet they say the same as mine.

If you don't want to seal them yourself and have exhausted trying to return them rock auto has perfectly good headlights for $42 a pop.

Thank you, $42 seems unreal. I wish I would have found those! haha. I did see anything about not in wet environments. So they are basically saying there stuff is garbage. I wish someone would make good looking stock quality headlights!
