Looking for ideas on where to mount my front camera

The traditional mounting location under the "Tacoma" on a TRD pro grill will not work for me. The view only looks down to the top of the steel bumper. I am deferring to the deep knowledge pool of tacomaworld for advice.

Image below: View through camera is blocked by bumper. Over 60% of the image

Image below: Mounting right above bumper light bar. Camera angle seems to be pointed down a little too much

Picture below: Mounting below the light bar, on the lower side of bumper. Seems like camera is pointed at the sky a little too much.

What do you folks think? Appreciate the input, thank you in advance

Doesn't the kit come with some shims to adjust the angle? I don't think you'd want to mount it in that under the light bar location as it would probably be damaged pretty easily.

Try the shims in the original locations on the grill to see if you can get it angled between the space of your bumper and bullbar.

Why not just run the wire from the outside first and turn the camera on to find what angle looks best on the screen? Trying to guess without knowing what the actual image and angle would be is a waste especially if you’re going to drill a hole into your steel bumper

I ended up putting mine inside the letters under the top ridge. I had to slot the hole a little so it would sit flush. I get a little bit of the hoop in the picture, but I use it to judge stuff. I can take a picture and what-not if needed. Can't do the camera's image right now because I don't have a radio....
