Anyone with experience with Rigid Industries 30" Radiance LED light bar?

Been checking out the Rigid Industries 30" Radiance LED light bar to install in the lower valence

Seems like it's RI's "more affordable price point" line. Any one with any experience with this product?

I was looking to buy one of those too, but the wiring harness for it alone is $75.

 

Wait, it doesnt come with harness? Do other brands come with it?

 

I don't think the Radiance series come with the wiring harness. It's a double switch harness to control the backlighting option, so it's more expensive.

They do include wiring harness for other series though.

 

Gotcha. I may need to look at other options then. This is kinda pricey to be tucked inside the bumper valence.

 

This reply might be too late but I'm having mine installed right now. It doesn't come with its own harness you have to use the special radiance harness that is wired for two switches, one for the backlight feature and one for the main LEDs. I'll have pictures up once it's all done.

 

No not late at all. Thanks for chiming in.... I am still researching different options and haven't made up my mind yet.

What size did you go with and where are you mounting it?

 

30" with the red backlighting. I got it on autoanything.com for 20% off and got the harness on Amazon for $50, all together it was around $300 shipped. I'm doing lower bumper on my 3rd gen.

 

That is awesome. Same bar and location as I am imaging on my '15. Definitely share some pics once installed.

I got off Amazon for $50, it looks like it came from the factory n it fit perfectly where the sunglasses holder is. I can't take credit for the install I had it professionally done.

Ha-ha what else is tacomaworld for if not making you want to mod your truck. I bought mine couple weeks ago it was goodbye20 might be over now. If you wait a little bit they'll probably have another sale for labor day or an end of summer sale n you can get it then.

You reused two switches on the panel over the ones that came with harness?

 

Ya I have the main LED wired to "LED lightbar" and the backlight to "zombie lights"
