I'm interested in getting a Victory 4x4 or Prinsu Roof Rack for my truck. But before I pull the trigger, I want to make sure what I want to mount will work with the racks. Does anyone have one in the area that I could test fit with? I'm looking to mount a Yakima Skybox 12 and Yakima Forklift Bike Carrier. I live in Renton/Maple Valley, WA and commute to Silverdale, WA for work, so I can meet up anywhere in between.

Or if anyone knows if the Skybox and Forklift will attach with no issues, just let me know. If possible, could you post some pictures?

I'm in no rush, so I can meet up after the "stay at home" has been lifted if you want.

    Thanks!

So a lot of times the mounts will open up wide enough to go around the extrusion. I have seen some pictures of those Yakima boxes mounted right on the rails. Bike rack probably as well, but you don't need a full bike mount. You can bolt fork mounts right to our rack's extrusion rails and strap the rear tire down to the rack or to one of our tire trays.

I like these fork mounts because they lock and hold up to the winters here, but there are a ton of options.

Our trays are available here and bolt on to the extrusion wherever you like.

Thanks for the info! I will look at the alternate bike mounts. I was more concerned about the roof box, so good to know.

Haha, yes. At least it's opposite traffic, so I just cruise most of the way!

I’m in Renton, with a Prinsu on a GX460 and a Yakima Skybox 18. The mounting feet of the Yakima are a struggle to fit and don’t wrap around the Prinsu 1x2 bars.
