I understand a lot of people on here love the Wet Okole seat covers, but the neoprene is hot to me during the summer. I will say, they do fit nicely. I purchased a pair years ago during a group by and later sold to TW member.
I'm looking at the Coverking Cordura Ballistic or similar front seat covers.
If you have or have had them, I'd love to have your input.

The Coverking Codura Ballistic look good for the price. I'm running Covercraft Carhartt that look similar. If you like Carhartt then you like it. Its not for everybody. I did scotchguard mine good immediately after installation.

Hey Craig, do you have the Carhartt Precision Fit Seat Covers? Those look sweet!

I had Coverking seat covers (neoprene) they held up for nearly 10 years of abuse with lots of outdoor activities plus a 45 lb dog. i have upgraded to Wet Okole.

I'll never knock Wet Okole. They make an awesome product. Again, it's just the heat factor for me.

They are pricey, but I love the fit. Thank you for posting the pic.
I just noticed for the first time that your PreRunner has a different seat than my '03. I thought all the 1st Gens had the bucket seats. Now I know why I keep seeing the 60/40 split bench seat in my options.

Yep. I'm glad they still make 60/40 covers.

Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
I’ve had Coverking Ballistics on my 2003 Dbcb for about 4 years in I think in charcoal digital pattern. I was initially disappointed as it seemed drivers side wore pretty quick in my opinion. But kinda weird, the wear stopped getting worst. Kinda like when you wash that favorite t-shirt for the first time then stop wearing it. My wife’s seat and the dogs(rear) doesn’t show any wear. Maybe it’s my fat 168 lbs that did it. Or that I’ve been in that seat all the time. I just bought a 2019 TRD and I’ll be putting Coverking Ballistics on it. When I get over the hit to my accounts.

Pics? Been thinking about snagging some grey 3rd gen 4runner seats and throwing some covers on them and those ballistics look nice.

There were straight-up (well across) bench seats too, particularly on regular (short) cabs:

I'm about to make an executive decision and order the Precision Fit.

It was all about protecting the originals that still look great. There is a foam padding between the canvas the the seats they cover.

Tips on installing the rear cover for these? I think we did it right but the straps across the bottom were tough to make reach across.

Maybe it was a tight fit. Though, I don't remember any issues during installation.
