I'm ready to replace my leaf springs on 03' tacoma with TRD package. The standard Tacoma leaf springs they sell seem to be for the non- heavy duty suspension from the part numbers they gave me. They also said they could make something more heavy duty for a little bit more money. My truck has a topper and carries 300 lbs most days not including the topper. I think I need something a little heavier duty and I'm wondering if anyone in similar situation has had them make something a little more custom. Go with thicker steel?, add a leaf? I'd like to keep it close as possible to stock height. Thanks

    I think @Kristi with a K had a set.
I remember her asking about a bushing or something on them?

I believe there are a few members on Pennsylvania thread that use ATS as well. Might want to ask there

As you can see I had a crappy experience with them.

You may do better with the custom ones, I dunno. I think my situation was a little more questionable than just an incompatible or wrong part, however, if one were to give the benefit of the doubt, the main thing it seems with them is if you have any problems with the product. I had to get super pushy. Even then he tried to put a band aid on something that was actually a safety issue. There is another review on here regarding a member who couldn't even get them to make good on some hardware.
