Falkens new RT that recently released https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tires/falken-wildpeak-r-t01

They've got an interesting size im curious if anyone has tried running. Its a 35/11.5/17 in C range. Weighs in at 67.5lbs.

I haven't seen this specific size before and the smaller width, and lighter weight compared to most 35" e rated tires seems to potentially be a great option for a Taco.

Anyone happen to go with this configuration or even tire in general?

Tried to order the Nitto Recon Grapplers in 35/11.5R17 C load at 64lbs (which Discount T. shows) yesterday, they cant find and and Nitto said the sales were too low to keep making that size.

Next I tried the Toyo AT3 in 35/11.5R17 C load at 61lbs, said they were on back order. Still waiting to hear back from DT, about ready to order from Amaz.

There are a few others, but they are E load.

I just got the Toyo AT3 35/12.5/17 C load. I didn't weigh them but it is advertised at 59lbs.

Think the OP, and I both are looking at the 11.5 width due to being narrower.

I was at pnw expo and actually talked to the nitto guys, they said they don’t have the recon grappler in that size but would have the trail or ridge grapplers - sounds like it aligns to what you heard.

Curious to hear back if/when you hear back on the at3s , the size sounds like a great option

I have the 35x11.50R17 Ridge Grapplers on mine and so far I like them a lot. I was even able to get the full sized spare back in the original position with a little exhaust bobbing and removal of an exhaust hanger. The fuel mileage took a bigger hit than I had imagined but it is what it is. With 285/70/17 Wildpeak AT3W's I was averaging 14.5mph. With the Ridge Grappler's I'm averaging 11.5mpg. I'll likely go with a 285/75/17 next time.

I'd rather have 34's E than 35's C. Unless its for looks, but for durability, longevity and abuse I need the thicker carcass.

I rape SL/C load on my hard gravel roads, and my E's are holding up much better.

My buddy at work has 34 Es and has been very happy with them, almost went 35 but held back.

I have yet to drive a big wildpeak in C. Probably drives much nicer though.

Just had this size, 35x11.5r17, installed yesterday. Super smooth ride. Switched from AT3Ws. The rides are comparable. No freeway hum. Really quiet.

What size did you switch from and what’s been the impact on your mpgs?
    Any pics?

Moved down from 315/75r16 AT3Ws. Not sure I’ll see any mpg change. Biggest change felt is the load change from E to C. Ride definitely feels softer

Do you have a shot from the front but zoomed out a bit so you can see the width in relation to the whole truck?
