I know there are tons of threads about the Pedal Commander, and I think it would be great for my 2019 Tacoma TRD Sport. But, in searching for the best price, this thing called Windbooster comes up and is priced from $69- $148, half of what the Pedal Commander is going for. Does anyone have experience with this Windbooster throttle response controller?

That didn't answer the question, but in looking at Ovtune, it actually reprograms the ECU which I would certainly NOT want to do unless I had complete control over programming the whole thing. Even then, I would wonder about warranty issues if anything were to go wrong. So my initial question is still out there...

There's no way for them to see your truck is tuned, unless you tell them. These sprint booster commander wind boxes are all just bandaids

So what is the reason you refer to Sprint/Pedal Commander/Windbooster boxes as bandaids? They seem to do what they say without affecting the ECU at all, which seems ideal to me. I just wonder about the HUGE price difference between Pedal Commander, Sprint Booster, and this Windbooster thing?

I’m a fan of the sprint booster. No issues after two years of daily use. Just keep an eye out for deals on it. I ordered mine from rogue off road.com, but seen them on sale on underdog racing (URD.com)

you realize that anything you plug in between the gas pedal and harness does nothing more than simulate you pushing the pedal down more than you are.... you can literally do the same thing these pedal commander things are doing for FREE by simply pushing the gas pedal down further.

They do not and can not increase throttle response.

They do not and can not change shift points.

They do not and can not change anything to the actual tune / programming in the ecu.

They ARE a waste of money.
