Not sure where to post this so apologies.

I have a Prinsu rack and a SnugTop shell. I am almost certain I cannot ship the rack on but I am getting mixed reports on the shell being able to stay on. Outside that I know it has to be clean as can be with nothing in it etc.

I would call, and have, and I seem to get a different answer each time.

Shipped with Matson. As long as it’s bolted down they’ll ship. The racks and shells are bolted down so you’re good. I shipped from Honolulu to Seattle in November

Moved from Hawai’i, to the mainland a few months ago and didn’t have one issue even flying with my bulldog and firearms. You’ll be alright

Sadly I wish I could fly normally with my dogs...I have pugs so it has honestly been the biggest pita of the entire move. There is a cargo flight (Pac Cargo) that will get them there but they only fly to and from LAX/HON (hence me having to drive to LA). Toss in closing on a home, the move, and a global pandemic and has been quite fun :)

I had to sign a waiver saying I wouldn’t sue them if my English bulldog died

I think coming back to the mainland they will allow short nose dogs but going there I was shot down by every airline including HI Air. It's all good I am actually ok with the cargo company as they are behind the pilot and climate etc is normal. My 2 are pretty old so going underneath would be fairly risky for these two knuckleheads :)

    Mahalo :)

    What changed for you?

for me it’s all- food, people, beauty, way of life… and the fucking weather!

I live at the beach here in Florida and it’s completely different (not in a good way) the beaches suck in comparison, it gets too damn cold for me and the humidity is near unbearable.

In Maui the average single family home price is 850,000

And for some strange reason the rapidly changing infrastructure is poorly engineered and never thought out.

But it's still home, and I love her.

I stayed on the windward side and worked night shift at homedepot and nex so I know about the chronics and homeless.

It was some of my best years. i was kinda taken in by a local waimanalo family so I got the ins and outs basically. Housing cost is definitely High. I stayed on lanai also and that was More mellow
