I'm trying to find great quality that doesn't break the wallet nor the weight scale. There are three sizes (low 7", medium 10", high 17.5") for this bed rack. The low rack is around 40lbs. I think the high rack is the one that's 55lbs.

I've done some research here and on Google. All of the bed racks I've seen are 85 lbs or heavier. I'm thinking this one is the lightest one out there. Anyone else familiar with this product?

Caliraised only rebrands cheap Chinese products. If you are wanting a decent bed rack that is low profile, I suggest the C4 low profile bed bars. They are 9" bars and weigh about 20lbs each.

What do you value more, looks or functionality? The answer to this question will point you in the right direction.

If you were actually looking for quality you wouldn't be shopping an Insta-brand.

Most bed racks are going add some weight. If you want something light, then you are going to pay the price for aluminum. My old KB Voodoo rack (also for sale) was steel, 10" height, and weighed in around 60lbs. Now I'm running an Xtrusion Overland rack that is 15" high, aluminum, and weighs in around 80-90 lbs. But its taller and has more components. The odd thing is, I get better gas mileage when my rack and tent is on my truck vs off, ha.

Xtrusion is a solid brand!! And I get better mileage with my tent on as well. So weird.

Functionality. I'm getting more into overlanding; however, my goal is to be a minimalist for saving time and money and for keeping my gas mileage up as much as possible. When you start adding a bunch of stuff, every pound will affect gas mileage of course.

Thank you to all replies. Much appreciated..

Looks good. I'm also looking to add molle panels on both sides though so I can carry fuel tanks, traction boards, etc.

I made my own panels for rotopax, awning, shower and traction boards.

Just their LED products. All their metal stuff is done in house and is actually pretty solid.

    To answer OP:

I run the CaliRaised mid-height. I wanted something that would be cab height, look sleak, and have mountin points for future gear. Plus I can still somewhat see behind me out of the rear view mirror. This rack checked all the boxes and was fairly affordable.

I will say occasionally I wish that the tent sat slightly higher, not necessarily as high as their highest option though. It would be cool to use that space more effectively under the tent without having to bend down all the time.

We have an aluminum rack that weighs 40 lbs, you can easily lift off the truck by yourself, and it won't sag your suspension at all:

Please let me know if you have any questions. Our bed rack is 80% of the construction being aluminum, this translates into a lightweight, incredibly sturdy, and low maintenance. Also, we have them IN STOCK with FREE SHIPPING.
