Ahh... The good old Dirt Slut control arms.

I run the uniball versions, but I must say their ball joint version should be just as good as their uniball flavors and much easier to turn as well while at standstills because ball joints require less effort to turn inherently.. that is one of the reasons they switched over actually.

If you are on the fence I would jump on them without hesitation. They are well made, solid, quality products.

If the lca's are the same between 2wd and 4wd, I'd be interested.

HOLD THE PHONE! Your profile says 5 lugger. 4wd is definitely not the same as 5 lug.

No, I bought a duralast as I was stuck in a friend's garage with the door open.
I would have been all over your OEMs with the white line bushings though.

I actually just got them on, only about 75 miles on them. So far my suspension feels like butter. Greg at Dirt King explained to me that they moved away from the uniball because with the stock length lower it was not playing nice with the steering of the vehicle. Also, Im happy with the idea of a sealed joint that I don't have to worry as much about getting crapped up with dirt and debris.

So you have a set of these but Uni Ball? I am trying to get a Group Buy going but am getting some negative feedback etc. That the aluminum skid plate is a gimmick and does nothing.

What are you hearing thats bad about them? I bashed a boulder with my uniball version LCAs and the control arms just laughed it off and took a chip off the boulder once.

The skid plate is just an added extra piece of protection that they add on at no additional cost. The arms themselves is where the true strength is.

The price of the arms today is what I paid for mine 5 years ago.
