The 3/2 lift and correct wheel/tire combo will fit 33” tire without an issue. Stopped at a local place a while back and got some price quotes and just picked him for info on a lift and he installs the 3/2 lift very often since it offers the opportunity for a 33” tire and in some cases larger. Picks of lift itself won’t be any different from one lift to another really. Find the look you’re interested in and go with that wheel/tire combo and then have the lift of your choice installed or do yourself. I looked around through the thread in the stickies titled ‘what have you done to your 3rd gen lately’. Many many pics in there of various lifts.

There is some work to make 33s fit unless you run some skinny’s. Some people with 275s even have issues with rubbing sometimes.

Be prepared for either rubbing or some work to make a wider 33 work such as a 285 or 12.5

I have the 3/2 ready lift with the 17" TRD Pro wheels and BFG KO2 33" tires and it works flawlessly...there's a ton of YT vids from 88 rotors showing this same setup.

285/70/17 is the exact setup, no rubbing no nothing.

Love it, truck looks great and the ride is fine... assuming your not doing major off roading of course. I take my on gravel roads Mountain Biking and fishing no problem but in the end she's a pavement princess

Did you bother with aftermarket UCAs?

I also run a 3/2 spacer lift with stock UCAs and 32s so I was just curious. I do have a bit of positive camber but alignment comes out fine. Just gonna keep an eye on the tire wear for now. Pics for OP. Also, nice wheels!:thumbsup:20210224_170200.jpg 20210224_180457.jpg

Great looking rides gentlemen! Are either of you experiencing any rubbing with this wheel/tire and lift combo?

    Hi,

Hope it is ok if I jump in. I have a 3/2 lift with the TRD 275/60r16. Do you know if going to the 285’s will work ok the same as on the 17’ rim. I am not familiar with backspace on the different rims.

    Thanks.

You might get some rub on stock UCAs with 285s. I think your wheels are +20 offset?
