I feel like I never see Nitto Trail Grapplers in the general PDX area. Anyone running this tire on their 3rd gen Taco?

I’ve got Ridge Grapplers, picked them over Trail grapplers because of positive reviews and looks.

I'm on my second set of 35s in the trail grapplers on my super duty. They have been good tires for the money and I wouldn't be afraid to buy another set. They should last quite a bit longer on a Tacoma. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I'm definitely curious how they do in WA/OR on a midsize truck like the Tacoma.

    Truck looks awesome!

Was wondering if anyone was going to reply lol. I hardly see these tires on any Tacomas here, but they were very popular in the South on full size rigs.

How do they do on wet roads/heavy rain? Had them in any snow on or off road?

Thanks! So many tires out there. Feels like I have ADHD.

I have them in 285/70/17 C load and they've been great. Really quiet. They've done well in every condition except for thick mud. I've had them for around 23k miles and they're going strong. I will say that since they're a softer compound they chunk easier but hasn't affected the ride.

My build thread has pics of me in pretty much every terrain I've taken them in.

If they weren't so heavy I would buy them again in 35s.

Nice. Thanks for the feedback. You're right about the weight...they are one of the heavier ones.

EDIT: Looks like you have RIDGE grapplers. I was asking about TRAIL grappler MTs, but thanks for this info regardless.

Oh durrrr. I liked the trail graps but considering most of my time is spent on the street I didn't think the trade off was worth it at the time.

I have trail grapplers. They have been holding up well, currently at 31k miles. They aren't great on wet roads or ice and kick up lots of rock on gravel roads. I will probably switch to at's when the time comes. Look good though.
